As a build, this kit is based on the MG Aile Strike Gundam (Ver.RM) foundation, and that matters at the workbench. Compared to the original MG Aile Strike Gundam, this Strike Rouge kit will give a cleaner movement and more usable articulation, especially for action stances that need stable hips, knees, and shoulders. The build stays structured—inner frame first, then armor that locks in cleanly—so it feels modern without being fiddly.
Where it really earns its shelf space is the Ootori striker itself. The wings and boosters articulate, the anti-ship sword can detach as a handheld weapon, and the pack’s beam launcher and railgun deploy into firing mode—so it’s not just “a backpack,” it’s a whole display system. It also comes with its own Ootori display stand and an Action Base 1 adapter, so you can show it off properly once it’s fully armed.
