From Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, Qubeley Mk-II is a successor variant of the original Qubeley, introduced during the latter stages of the Gryps Conflict. Retaining the Newtype-focused funnel system and flowing armor lines of its predecessor, the Mk-II version adopts a darker color scheme and a more imposing visual tone, reinforcing its role as a powerful Axis Zeon mobile suit. It is most notably piloted by Haman Karn.
The HGUC Qubeley Mk-II translates this refined design into 1/144 scale with a build approach focused on proportion accuracy, articulation, and visual clarity. The kit features a reliable joint system that supports expressive stances while preserving the smooth, continuous curves that define the Qubeley family. Armor parts are molded with clean separation, allowing the distinctive silhouette to stand out without heavy reliance on stickers.
What builders tend to appreciate most is how the Qubeley Mk-II’s binder units and color presence define the final model. The large wing-like binders frame the body dramatically, enhancing both neutral and action poses, while the darker palette gives the kit a commanding, almost regal appearance. Combined with a smooth build flow and unmistakable Zeta-era identity, the HGUC Qubeley Mk-II offers a satisfying High Grade experience rooted in elegance, power, and Newtype mystique.
