Do NOT use the SPN-120 on transparent or translucent (clear) plastic. This is a high-risk material for blade damage and is explicitly something to avoid.

Because the blade is ultra-thin and precision-ground, technique matters:

• Best cutting position: Aim to cut with the gate placed through the mid section of the blade, where it shears most cleanly and remains most stable.

• Straight cut only: Avoid wrong-angle cutting (twisting, prying, or side-loading). Any torsion while cutting can chip or misalign the edge.

• Two-step method recommended: If a gate feels thick or resistant, do a first cut with a regular nipper (leave a small nub), then use the SPN-120 for the final clean cut.

This is a precision tool: humidity is the enemy of the nipper and can lead to oxidation/rust if stored improperly.

• After use, wipe it clean and dry.
