From Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, the GAT-X105 Aile Strike Gundam is the Strike Gundam equipped with the Aile Striker, most closely associated with Kira Yamato. In the series it’s the “do-it-all” configuration—balanced mobility, straightforward loadout, and the blueprint for the whole Striker system concept.
At the bench, the Ver.RM version is where Strike finally starts to feel modern as a Master Grade. The frame and joints are designed around clean movement: double-jointed elbows and knees, a waist/hip setup that lets you actually step into wide stances, and shoulder construction that gives you range without fighting the armor. The result is a Strike that poses naturally, instead of looking like it’s “doing its best” to hold a weapon.
The highlights are all the little “builder-friendly” touches: the catapult deck display stand (very SEED), a cockpit you can open and populate with either pilot, and hands that let you swap finger sections to match what you’re holding. The kit is also built to be a hub for the Strike ecosystem—other Striker packs can be mounted, and it even includes joint parts intended for Perfect Strike configurations. One more collector detail from the wiki notes: later reissues changed the box branding/logos, so if you’re picky about matching print eras on the shelf, it’s worth knowing.
